spiced orange flowers
A traditional Christmas cookie, at least in my family.  The orange flavor gives this cookie a much lighter taste than most other holiday cookies, and the red and green cherries give it a holly-esque holiday look.

Notes:
Just like the candy cane cookies, it's best to wait until they are cool, and their taste is light and crisp.  Be careful though, they are so light, you may be tempted to snack on more of them than you should.
